webfarmerObama might just be able to swing it in Omaha. Maybe even Lincoln. A couple of extra electoral votes wouldn't hurt. Jim Esch just might beat Terry if it goes that way too. I'll go lay down for a bit now.

"'Obama drew 10,000 people to his rally here. He's strong in Nebraska,' said Omaha's top elected Democrat, Mayor Mike Fahey. 'There would be coattails.' African-Americans make up 13% of Omaha's population. Voter turnout historically has been low in North Omaha, birthplace of 1960s firebrand Malcolm X and African-American Hall of Fame pitcher Bob Gibson. The area turned out about 16,000 voters in 2006, a count local Democrats expect would double if Mr. Obama is on the ticket.'"
