One of the things where Lincoln is still hanging in there. It's not a crime pit. Not bad for a city of 250,000.

"Mayor Chris Beutler and Police Chief Tom Casady released crime statistics Thursday showing that overall reported crime fell by 19.4 percent while robbery rates went up 28.8 percent. It's the largest drop in crime Casady said he can ever remember in Lincoln. The numbers reflect part one crimes that happened in the city, those are a set of major crimes that are reported to the FBI."
