In the 2002 election, the Green Party of England and Wales decided on trying out several "viral" on-line commercials as a way of boosting interest in their political party. Here are links to some of those videos.

2. Boiling Frog ( .mpg )

* First ever viral campaign by a political party
Green Party - artificial environments (April, 2002)
1. Oil
2. Gridlock
3. Rail
And a few related items from YouTube.

Ralph Nader Countdown
Rage Against The Machine - Testify
Bill Hillsman's (North Woods) Political Ads for Nader 2000:
Nader 'Priceless' Political Ad - 2000
Nader 'When I Grow Up' Political Ad - 2000
The reported combination of a lack of interest by Nader in running television ads, and the lack of money to do much of it anyhow, resulted in these being little seen on television as paid advertisements. They did get significant free coverage as a news item because, to the Nader campaign's good fortune, MasterCard decided to sue the campaign for spoofing their ads.
