Today's eMusic Picks
Nov. 5th, 2008 03:32 pmMellow environmental piano from 2005 and funky African guitar from the 1960s and 70s today.
I got introduced to funky King Sunny Ade when I was dj-ing at the local community radio station, KZUM-FM. K-Zoom is probably best known for it's blues shows in part because of the influence of the bluesy Zoo Bar here in Lincoln. The environmental stuff is always a good pick because sometimes there are only a couple of tracks per album and so they are "cheap" in eMusic terms.
BTW, if anyone wants a free 50 mp3 intro subscription to eMusic just send me your e-mail and I'll send one out.
