Seems to me like we rebooted the country last night. Now what?

Maybe time to get off an operating system that regularly gets unstable and crashes for starters.

Nebraska To Help Out Late for Obama?

I thought the 2nd district (Omaha metro area) was a done deal for McCain but obviously not. Maybe my puny local effort helped after all. The early and provisionals will probably lean for Obama.

"Nebraska was never a swing state, but its unique system of assigning electoral votes has left it with a surprising question mark after election night. The 2nd Congressional District, which includes Omaha, remains too close to call, with John McCain leading President-elect Barack Obama by 569 votes. And 9,000 provisional and early ballots are still uncounted, reports the Omaha World-Herald.

Republicans hail the close race as a testament to the GOP's strength in the face of a tough challenge, while Democrats are thrilled to even have contested the deep-red state. Nebraska has trended predictably Republican since 1970; in 2004 President Bush took 59% of the 2nd District's vote. Nebraska's four other electoral votes will go to McCain."

I got introduced to funky King Sunny Ade when I was dj-ing at the local community radio station, KZUM-FM. K-Zoom is probably best known for it's blues shows in part because of the influence of the bluesy Zoo Bar here in Lincoln. The environmental stuff is always a good pick because sometimes there are only a couple of tracks per album and so they are "cheap" in eMusic terms.

I got introduced to funky King Sunny Ade when I was dj-ing at the local community radio station, KZUM-FM. K-Zoom is probably best known for it's blues shows in part because of the influence of the bluesy Zoo Bar here in Lincoln.
