Randi Rhodes just got canned at Air America.  Frankly, I never cared for her much after tuning in on one of the first days of Air American where she ambushed and talked over Ralph Nader in a way that would have made Rush Limbaugh blush [2].  Looks like she got her comeuppance when she used the wh***-word in reference to Hillary and Gerry Ferraro in a comedy routine. The bridge too far for the NY Democrat corporate owners?

Being a fellow cranky Midwesterner, I kind of liked Ed's cranking on AAR some time before this for other malfeasance without a permit.  Your mileage may vary.  Listener caution advised; especially if one is an AAR fan. Echos of Obama's recent comments on small towners in this too. Fairly or unfairly noted.

Ha! I still think "Ozzy Osbourne" when I see "Randi Rhodes," even though it's "Randi" instead of "Randy." It's hard to cover those 70's/80's metal roots, I guess.

I didn't recall that one right off so I cued it up on YouTube. Interesting San Francisco 60s kind of sound to the first part of it. Piano. Head jerking section. Classical music Wall-of-Sound ending.
