Remember Soylent Green. Oh wait, it was the plankton that was dying.

I wonder if red algae blooms would work as well? (seeing as we are poisoning our oceans so nicely.)

I don't recall the original problem with Soylent Green other than there were too many people.

These are specially developed algae that are big bags of oil from what I recall.
