"Wind storms in Spain drove wind turbines hard there creating a record high amount of electricity resulting in a cut to electric prices because Spanish were able to reduce production from more expensive generators powered by burning coal or natural gas.
Electric prices dropped to a 15-month low after Atlantic winds blowing at more than twice their average normal speed for the past five years blew through wind turbines in the Castile and Galicia regions."
