Not unlike some of the police weirdness at the last RNC in Minnesota, I see that the terrorist puppetista of Bread and Puppet were targeted at the 2000 RNC. Unconstitutional neo-police state criminals or merely incompetent? You make the call.

"Bread & Puppet volunteers were among the 79 people arrested at a warehouse in Philadelphia during the 2000 Republican National Convention. The Associated Press reported that the scene of the 'SWAT-style' raid was broadcast live by news helicopters.

Years later, the AP explained that there 'was tense talk (later proved unfounded) of terrorist plots being hatched in the 'puppetista' headquarters, of bomb building and anarchist-fueled mayhem.' Its report did not include the police's side of the story.

'A couple of our folks were down there, helping to build puppets,' said Linda Elbow, company manager for Bread & Puppet. 'The cops went into the studio...arrested people, and took the puppets. So, now, puppets are criminals.'"

Nerd warning! Learned about something new today: Jedelsky wings and associated Reynolds number issues. American-style water pumping mill, paper airplanes, sailboats and the original Wright Brothers "Flyer" all use "single surface" airfoils. Jedelsky wings are single surface but they have a set of ribs on the bottom side to provide support for the camber (curve) and structural rigidity of the wing.

Air molecules that look like ping-pong (table tennis) balls to a large airplane might look more like soccer balls or basketballs to a small model. The job of tunneling your way through a pile of ping-pong balls is different than tunneling through basketballs, and requires some changes in your strategy."
