Last Friday I vegged out as usual for the usual end of the week roundups on PBS.   Beyond the usual Newshour with Jim Lehrer, Washington Week with Gwen Ifill, NOW with David Brancaccio series, I watched the end of Foreign Exchange.  The host, Fareed Zakaria, interviewed Shibley Telhami regarding the results of a recent poll on Arab attitudes in the Middle East [PowerPoint].   The poll was done in coordination with Zogby International.  I found the interview to be quite interesting and just noticed it on Goggle Video for free viewing.

NPR also interviewed Telhami.  They note that Telhami is the Anwar Sadat Professor for Peace and Development at the University of Maryland.

Another related item is the always original and highly controversial Robert Fisk, foreign correspondent for the Independent (UK) newspaper, who is interviewed by Laura Flanders for a Nation gathering.  I originally picked it up via Laura Flander's Radio Nation podcast.   He doesn't have many kind words for any of the players.
