Still too much fun. From David Frum a conservative commentator who is none too keen on the Limbaughization of the GOP.

LIMBAUGH AT CPAC - The New Majority Blog - 02 Mar 09

"A man who is aggressive and bombastic, cutting and sarcastic, who dismisses the concerned citizens in network news focus groups as 'losers.' With his private plane and his cigars, his history of drug dependency and his personal bulk, not to mention his tangled marital history, Rush is a walking stereotype of self-indulgence – exactly the image that Barack Obama most wants to affix to our philosophy and our party. And we’re cooperating!"

Even better is the new head of the GOP, Michael Steele apologizing to Rush for saying his program was "ugly" and he was only an "entertainer". Earlier, Rep. Phil Gingrey had to reverse course on some criticism of Rush. Talk about whipped politicians.

Of course all this power may turn your cat into a newt the next time it wanders by. You were warned.

"An eight inch version of this reflector out performs the 'cantenna' in all respects and it's much easier to make a good one on the first try."

More voodoo economics exposed. How many years before people forget this one too. They always seem to do so. It's as certain an outcome as Charlie Brown with Lucy holding the football each fall.

Revenge of the Glut - Paul Krugman - NY Times - 01 Mar 09

"And wide-open, loosely regulated financial systems characterized many of the other recipients of large capital inflows. This may explain the almost eerie correlation between conservative praise two or three years ago and economic disaster today. 'Reforms have made Iceland a Nordic tiger,' declared a paper from the Cato Institute. 'How Ireland Became the Celtic Tiger' was the title of one Heritage Foundation article; 'The Estonian Economic Miracle' was the title of another. All three nations are in deep crisis now."
